Current Project: Cyclone Dithwa Relief – Sri Lanka
Cyclone Dithwa has caused severe devastation across parts of Sri Lanka, leaving many families homeless and without basic necessities. The cyclone resulted in widespread damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods, deeply affecting vulnerable communities.
In response to this humanitarian crisis, Uthavum Karam has initiated a relief and rehabilitation project to support affected families. Our trust is actively working to:
- Construct new shelters for families who have completely lost their homes
- Repair and rehabilitate damaged houses to help families return to safe living conditions
- Provide basic support and assistance to restore dignity and stability for affected individuals
Through this project, we aim to help families rebuild their lives by providing safe shelter and long-term support. With the help of donors, volunteers, and community partners, Uthavum Karam is committed to standing with the people of Sri Lanka during this time of need.
